Wes Shaw is a Professional Gardener based in Chiswick, west London.
With over 25 years’ experience in the horticulture industry, Wes’s resume includes Keeper of the Palm House at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Head of Horticulture at Horniman Museum and Gardens in south London.
He specialises in creating interesting and innovative botanical displays that encourage people to learn more about the wonderful world of plants. Wes has decided to bring these skills to the home market to help you make the most of your own garden.
He holds the Royal Horticultural Society’s most prestigious qualification the (MHort) Master of Horticulture, a degree level award. Wes has also studied garden design and CAD computer aided design at Capel Manor College, London.
Wes has explored many parts of the world studying plants in their natural habitat to gain a better understanding of plant cultivation. Recent expeditions include exploring the Harapan rainforest in Java, Indonesia learning about rainforest plants, and three weeks in Baja California, Mexico to study cacti and succulents in the wild.

Wes is based in Chiswick, and works all over West London, including Kew, Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington and Putney.
