About

“Many eyes go through the meadow, but few see the flowers in it.”

From the Keeper of the Palm House at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to Head of Horticulture at The Horniman Museum…and in addition to caring for gardens throughout London, I have spent the last 30 years making ‘the flowers’ more visible.

A natural lover of plants and their habitats has led me to travel the world seeking the most innovative planting displays and the rarest plants.

Living through the pandemic has taught us of our fundamental need for the natural world just beyond our window and I would love to help you create a vision for your garden, no matter how small from design to realisation.

The issues of sustainability, rewilding of our urban spaces, increasing biodiversity, and the proven power of nature to better our mental health are all themes that inspire my work.
